The Fashion Show is one of the largest student-run fashion shows in the nation, featuring dynamic student designs and professional guest designers. Over 150 Iowa State students are selected to be a part of various The Fashion Show (TFS) committees. These committees include Alumni Relations, Model Management, Public Relations, Art, Finance, Digital Media, Set Design, Behind the Scenes, Philanthropy, and Social Media. The purpose of The Fashion Show is to give students a unique learning experience unlike anything else they will receive at Iowa State. Students from different majors with different skills come together for one common goal, to make TFS a success. While The Fashion Show is a much-anticipated event to the Iowa State campus community, the event is much more than one night of glamour and excitement. TFS values giving back not only to Iowa State and its students but also to philanthropic organizations such as Dress for Success.
